UK-favourite Corey James’ 2018 releases are consistently gaining attention for all the right reasons. To date, Corey James has remixed Nicky Romero & Florian Picasso’s ‘Only For Your Love’, and also signed another anthem to Steve Angello’s ‘Size Records’, entitled ‘Arlanda’. These releases have gone on to receive spins from leading tastemakers including Above & Beyond, Tiesto, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Fedde Le Grand, Kryder and many more.
Corey James also said the following: ‘We started Eros about 2 years ago, and it’s been that ‘special’ track in my sets for some time now. People have been asking for it, so it was only right we finished it! Working with Years was great too, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.’
Norwegian-born Years has also carved-out a reputation as a rising talent who’s capable of creating captivating melodies. Years already boasts a co-produced ‘Remode’ of Shapov’s ‘Belong’ with Axwell, released via his ‘Axtone Records’, which has accumulated over 8.5m Spotify streams. Elsewhere, Years has also signed records to other top-tier labels including ‘Armada Trice’ and ‘Refune Music’ too.
Years also said the following: ‘Eros is a piece of music that represents what I love about this genre; uplifting melodies and high energy all the way through. After two years in the making, I’m proud to finally release this beauty with Corey James.’
‘Eros’ initiates via a rising intro, which smoothly transactions into an uplifting, euphoric melody which features hypnotic piano chords. As ‘Eros’ further progresses, a snare-driven build takes control to prepare listeners for a pulsating synth-driven drop which exudes copious amounts of energy, certain to get the dance floor moving.
