After more than a year of absence in terms of shows and releases, Tim Bergling (interview), better known as Avicii, is finally back with an EP on universal music that was all expected with an undisguised impatience.
“AVĪCI EP” is composed of 6 tracks, including 5 original and one remix. The Swedish superstar has been accompanied by other stars for his songs like Rita Ora and AlunaGeorge.
“Lonely Together“, accompanied by Rita Ora and ‘Without You‘ with the beautiful voice of Sandro Cavazza, will be the two EP's most likely to be on all the radios of the planet.
“Friend of Mine” featuring Vargas & Lagola, “You Be Love” feat. billy raffoul and Avicii's Remix on Sandro Cavazza‘s track “So Much Better” are the other tracks included in the “AVĪCI EP“.
Despite the superb quality of this opus, we remain a little on our hunger. Too bad the Swedish came back to us the same sauce as before.
We are one of those who adored his style house pop (country for some) advocated for some years already. But Avicii is one of those talents who take people off against especially after a long period of absence like this.
In our opinion, he could have done as usual, get out of his comfort zone and continue to take risks to offer us something new again.
However, this “AVĪCI EP” is still a little treat for everybody's ears. Super good production, super well-thought, with tracks that will manage to touch big and small fans. With this new EP, Avicii will make a huge impact.
