Following their highly anticipated sold out show at the Steel Yard in Liverpool, Axwell Λ Ingrosso‘s manager Amy Thomson has dropped yet another hint regarding new music from the duo; probably the track title is “Lover“. She recently sparked fan speculation with a tweet revealing the date of the album announcement next year. Now, Amy Thomson has once again released some more information.
Yesterday Amy Thomson posted an array of videos from Axwell & Ingrosso’s live show at the Steel Yard. One of which had an interesting caption as seen below. In the caption she describes the song as ‘new’ (Lover) and states that people will be singing along in January, hinting that the next single from Axwell & Ingrosso is coming very early next year.
The track (Lover) is very different in comparison with the duo’s other releases. With a much deeper sound which is accompanied by a heavy beat. The release seems to be completely in contrast to Axwell & Ingrosso’s usual progressive style, featuring both a male and a female vocalist, With a catchy melody throughout, this track will, as Amy Thomson says, certainly have people humming along in the shower.
This new release certainly sounds like it is going to take the dance music scene by storm. Moreover, it has already become popular with fans leaving comments on the Instagram post. If this is in fact their next track, Axwell Λ Ingrosso have proven once again one thing; their ability to adapt, excelling in whichever genre they move into.
