Flosstradamus releases “Came Up” remix package

Since unleashing their latest single “Came Up” with a live performance featuring Post Malone at Lollapalooza this summer, Flosstradamus has received widespread support for the collaboration with FKi1st and Graves from both the electronic and hip hop communities.

Acquiring over 1.2 million streams on SoundCloud alone since the track’s initial release, “Came Up” now receives the remix treatment from four up-and-coming trap artists.

The first track on the remix EP is a future bass remix from Jorgen Odegard, the winner of Bro Safari’s Splice x Mysteryland remix contest in 2015.

Jorgen shifts the track into a more instrumentally-driven tune, using the vocals only as a hook that lead into poppy trap breakdowns. Also fusing more future bass elements into their remix, Rickyxsan’s rework slows down the track a notch with an influx of bubbly future bass synthesizers.

The last two tracks on the EP give “Came Up” a different feel, first with graves & Clips X Ahoy delivering a trapped out VIP edit ready for the festival mainstage and then with Casper and B, turning the track to a feel-good groove filled with uplifting and saccharine melodies.

Seeb ft. Jacob Banks – What Do You Love (Zac Samuel Remix) [Virgin EMI – UK]

Norwegian trio Seeb have released a new official remix of ‘What Do You Love’ after the original single’s success earlier this year.

Brighton-based producer Zac Samuel remixes What Do You Love into an upbeat track with a piano-led melody and chopped vocals. Zac Samuel is known for remixing for the likes of Years and Years, Kiesza and the UKG classic Tina Moore’s ‘Never Gonna Let You Go’.

The original version of ‘What Do You Love’ was debuted live at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, and has since amassed over 18 million plays on Spotify alone.

Seeb is made up of Oslo-based artists Simen, Espen and Nick who had previously been working as individual producers and songwriters with several chart-topping tracks under their belts. Releasing their first remix under Seeb in 2015, they soon had a Hype Machine #1 with Kiesza’s ‘Cut Me Loose’ followed by a remix of Mike Posner’s smash-hit ‘I Took A Pill In Ibiza’ which took off on steaming platforms, giving the trio international traction almost overnight. Their debut original single from earlier this year, ‘Breathe’, built on the remix’s incredible success. Having built up global recognition, Seeb had a busy year of touring at some of Europe and the US’s biggest clubs and festivals.

Clean Bandit (feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie) – Rockabye (Elderbrook Remix) [Atlantic]

London based producer, singer/songwriter and multi instrumentalist Elderbrook has put his own inventive twist on Clean Bandit’s #1 hit single ‘Rockabye’ ft. Sean Paul and Anne-Marie.

A minimalistic yet atmospheric take on the original, Elderbrook uses chopped vocal samples from Sean Paul and Anne-Marie to create melodies over sultry bass notes, clicks and echoing strings samples. Dusty noise and rattling cymbals add texture to the dancehall-influenced rhythm for a truly original reimagining of the track.

This version of ‘Rockabye’ looks set to further cement Elderbrook’s status as an artist to watch, closing out a busy year for the young artist. He recently performed a sold out headline show at brand new London Bridge hotspot Omeara, following international tours alongside the likes of RÜFÜS DÜ SOL and Gorgon City.

Next year, Elderbrook will be performing his next headline show at XOYO in London on 30th March. Tickets are now on sale.
