Chocolate Puma – Popatron (Preview) [Spinnin’ Deep]

Chocolate Puma
Now these guys know how to drop classics, they’ve almost invented the term as they started out producing music in the early 90s, delivering club hits under several artist names. Most famous are probably The Goodmen and Jark Prongo –just check these names on the web and discover a collection of awesome oldskool house music!
The track comes with an amazing app ’The Popatron’, making it possible to play with the track’s basic elements and create your own version (beware, you’ll be hooked for hours!)
Well, as they helped shape the original house genre, the duo always kept on producing up-to-date tunes under the name Chocolate Puma. Recently, as oldskool house sounds have gained popularity again, this resulted in several big releases, including their summer 2015 single ‘I Could Be Wrong’ and, recently, their Tommie Sunshine collab ’Scrub The Ground’, both tracks receiving lots of feedback and DJ support by the likes of Oliver Heldens, Diplo, A-Trak, Don Diablo, Example and Bob Sinclar as well as Calvin Harris, Hardwell, David Guetta and Porter Robinson.
So, the boys are back, with surely another classic in their pocket.  And here’s a video teaser of the track, definitely worth checking out:

Inpetto – Lifting [Mixmash] (Preview)

Inpetto, one of the hottest sibling DJ/production duos around, are back with another track destined for dancefloor success. Out on Laidback Luke’s respected Mixmash imprint, ‘Lifting’ will be released on the 30th November.

Hailing from Dorsten, Germany, brothers Dirk and Marco Duderstadt are no strangers to success – their 1999 record ‘Toca’s Miracle’ has featured in the UK Top 20 an impressive 3 times. They are hotly in-demand remixers, their efforts earning them glowing praise from the likes of Axwell, David Guetta, Above & Beyond, and Sander Van Doorn.

Their original productions, however, offer Inpetto a chance to shine on their own – with ‘Lifting’ being the latest example of their talents.

An unashamedly joyful party track, ‘Lifting’’s attention-grabbing intro features sunny piano chords and powerful female vocals. Accelerating drums lead into an irresistibly catchy breakdown. Taking a big-room approach to the garage 2-step beat, the anthemic synths of ‘Lifitng’ compliment the pitched-up vocals for an uplifting track that demonstrates Inpetto’s skill for crafting – as Axwell put it – “amazing productions with a fantastic balance of beautiful melodies and power for the dancefloor.”

Merk & Kremont vs. Gianluca Motta – Upndown [Spinnin’] (Preview)

Italian duo Merk & Kremont has signed an exclusive deal with Spinnin’ Records. The highly popular DJ/production team is now a priority act for the Dutch dance label.

It’s an impressive career Federico Mercuri and Giordano Cremona are forging for themselves. After they started DJing together a few years ago in their hometown Milan, the duo quickly became a well known electro/progressive act.

One of their first produced tracks were picked up on Spinnin’s Talent Pool, a special app where producers can upload and share music with the audience. With the name Merk & Kremont spreading beyond the Italian borders, the duo began to release its first official tracks on labels like Spinnin’ Records, DOORN, Protocol, and Revealed.

Earlier this year the guys added to their recent success with another release on Spinnin’s main label, the popular progressive tune ‘Get Get Down’, getting lots of support from DJs like Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Avicii, David Guetta and Afrojack.

For sure, it’s been a triumphal journey so far for Merk & Kremont. Signing an exclusive deal with Spinnin’ Records means another milestone for the duo, moving from being a new name in the Dutch company’s Talent Pool to one of the label’s main artists in a couple of years.

“Back when we started to produce electronic music, releasing a single on Spinnin’ Records was a dream for us. Indeed, we are overwhelmed to be signing this exclusive deal with the Dutch label after only three years after our first release ever, but we haven’t stopped dreaming, it’s just that the dream gets bigger! We’re working on new music so expect great things from us!”

With the release of ‘UPNDOWN’ vs Gianluca Motta coming out December 4th on Spinnin’ Records, the Italians prove they are one of the biggest up and coming acts of the moment. Again, the track is getting full DJ support way ahead of release, including praise from artists like Calvin Harris, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, David Guetta, Hardwell, Afrojack and VINAI.
