Jonas Blue ft. Dakota – Fast Car [Jonas Blue Music]

Teaming up with incredible young vocal talent, Dakota, Blue has swapped the original’s lilting guitar for an upbeat tropical house sound – and now he’s ready to unveil the official video.

With the record itself already a certified global smash – it’s claimed the #1 spot on iTunes and certified Gold in both Australia Sweden, #1 iTunes Sweden, reached #3 on the UK’s viral Spotify chart, #2 on the US viral chart, #4 on the global chart and amassed almost 10 million plays on Spotify too – the official video is sure to add to the global buzz surrounding the single.

Daddy’s Groove signs exclusive deal with Spinnin’ Records

Italian duo Daddy’s Groove has signed an exclusive deal with Spinnin’ Records. Already worldwide known for their countless remixes, original productions and protegés of David Guetta, this is a brand new milestone for the dance act, which from now on will see its music get exclusively released on the world famous dance label or one of its many imprints.

Hailing from Naples, Italy, it’s been an impressive trail to international fame for Carlo Grieco and Peppe Folliero. Since day one their productions were quickly picked up by artists like Axwell and David Guetta, the latter inviting them for remixes and productional work on his album ‘Nothing But The Beat’.

Since then, things haven’t slowed down for Daddy’s Groove. Touring endlessly around the globe, while getting their records released on labels like Spinnin’ Records, Ultra, Dim Mak, Axtone and Size, their brand strongly emerged in the dance community. Remixing artists like Kylie Minogue, Whitney Houston, James Blunt and Enrique Iglesias also proved them as steady translators of pop into dance music – by now Daddy’s Groove is renowned on both sides of the musical spectrum.

Signing an exclusive deal with Spinnin’ Records means another milestone for the duo, taking its steadily built career to a new level. From now on, their productions will see exclusive releases on Spinnin’ Records or one of its many sublabels.

This will be kicked off January 18th with the release of ‘WOW!’, a collab with Mindshake featuring the vocals of Kris Kiss, on Sander van Doorn’s infamous label DOORN Records. It’s a groovy piece of work, intertwining edgy electro sounds with wobbly basslines and clubby vocals.

M-22 – Good To Be Loved (Chris Lake Remix) [Refune]

Starting off the new year in prolific fashion, M-22 are treating their fans to a fresh rethink of their critically acclaimed record ‘Good To Be Loved’, courtesy of the world-renowned Scottish DJ/Producer, Chris Lake. This massive remix is out on January 29th via Refune Music but is available to stream now.

Holding true to his signature style, Chris Lake transforms M-22’s deep house blend into a bass and beat-fuelled groove guaranteed to ignite dance-floors in every corner of the globe. Kicking off with sampled snippets of the original vocals over a minimalistic mix of kicks, claps, and synth melodies, he subtly introduces aspects of the original whilst still giving the track a new direction. Featuring punchy hi-hats, a relentless driving kick, and a fidgety bass line, Lake provides a complimenting and yet expertly contrasting variation of the original.

Having reached the top ten charts on numerous occasions and specialising in a variety of different sub-genres, Chris has managed to stamp his particular style on ‘Good To Be Loved’ with enormous effect making it clear to see why M-22 have called upon him for remix duties.

With both of M-22’s original tracks selected as BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthem of the week, and with ‘Good To Be Loved’ awarded the accolade of Pete Tong’s ‘Essential New Tune’, not to mention support coming from the likes of Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso, the boys are undoubtedly making major waves in the industry and show no sign of stopping.
