Golden Features Announces North America ‘Wolfie Tour’, Debut Diplo & Friends Mix Feb. 5

After a major North America tour last year alongside fellow Aussie Alison Wonderland, Golden Features is coming back to the US and Canada in 2017 for a 7-date headline tour.
The ‘Wolfie Tour’ will be hitting prominent venues like Flash Factory in New York and Avalon in Los Angeles, as well as some more intimate clubs in San Francisco, Washington D.C., Vancouver, San Diego and Portland.
Golden Features has proven himself as one of Australia’s top enigmatic exports as he stands among the ranks of Flume, What So Not, Hayden James and Alison Wonderland.
Now embarking on his own headline tour, fans will have the opportunity to witness his diverse live show composed of some of the most innovative and forward thinking music from down under.
Following his highly acclaimed 2 track release – ‘Wolfie / Funeral’ – just a month ago on Odesza’s Foreign Family Collective, Golden Features will also be making his debut on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s world-renowned Diplo & Friends show on February 5, giving the world a glimpse of what to expect from his tour.
“Two and half years ago we played our first show in Australia where we were introduced to one of the most unique and forward thinking producers we’ve ever met. That person was Golden Features. Golden’s tracks are dark, brooding, and impressively detailed. He’s already made a name for himself in the Australian music scene and now we’re proud to say we’re bringing him into the family. “Wolfie” and “Funeral” exhibit his diverse range in production and songwriting. One’s blissfully nostalgic and the other is a dance party in hell, enjoy.” – Harrison and Clay, ODESZA
From his humble start as an anonymous bedroom producer, to becoming Artist of the Year via InTheMix, signing to Warner Bros. Records and recently having his single ‘Wolfie’ serve as the most played track on Triple J, it’s been a meteoric rise for the masked producer.
With the support of some of dance music’s biggest acts including Porter Robinson, who had him officially remix “Years of War”, Golden Features has clocked tremendous adoration from both fans and artists alike.
Now with a string of new music, tour dates and plenty more in the pipeline for the coming year, Golden Features looks primed for a career-defining 2017.

Flosstradamus releases “Came Up” remix package

Since unleashing their latest single “Came Up” with a live performance featuring Post Malone at Lollapalooza this summer, Flosstradamus has received widespread support for the collaboration with FKi1st and Graves from both the electronic and hip hop communities.

Acquiring over 1.2 million streams on SoundCloud alone since the track’s initial release, “Came Up” now receives the remix treatment from four up-and-coming trap artists.

The first track on the remix EP is a future bass remix from Jorgen Odegard, the winner of Bro Safari’s Splice x Mysteryland remix contest in 2015.

Jorgen shifts the track into a more instrumentally-driven tune, using the vocals only as a hook that lead into poppy trap breakdowns. Also fusing more future bass elements into their remix, Rickyxsan’s rework slows down the track a notch with an influx of bubbly future bass synthesizers.

The last two tracks on the EP give “Came Up” a different feel, first with graves & Clips X Ahoy delivering a trapped out VIP edit ready for the festival mainstage and then with Casper and B, turning the track to a feel-good groove filled with uplifting and saccharine melodies.

Download Flatdisk – ‘Higher’ and SIR NOTCH – ‘Please Don’t Go’ Here

Platinum-selling artist Sam Feldt has gifted his fans with two new tracks to kick off the New Year. Fans can unlock and download these tracks through his fan engagement portal, Heartfeldt.me.

The present includes a laidback, folk-influenced edit of Flatdisk’s ‘Higher’ feat. Dave Thomas and an emotive edit of SIR NOTCH’s ‘Please Don’t Go’with a synthesized piano melody running throughout.

Launching Heartfeldt.me – in collaboration with Fangage.me – at Amsterdam Dance Event in October last year, Sam is the first artist to have his own fan engagement site. This platform allows fans have a closer connection with him through exclusive content and competitions with chances to win meet and greet tickets to some of his shows.

2016 proved to be a monumental year for Sam Feldt. Since storming up the charts last summer with hit singles ‘Runaways’ and ‘Summer On You’, the latter christened Sam as a platinum-selling artist in his native Holland. Sam’s latest single, ‘What About The Love’ has already received over a million Spotify plays and is set to match up to the success of his previous releases.

Away from the charts, Sam has embarked on tours across Asia and America. The Dutch producer has played at coveted Ibiza residencies alongside Kygo, Klingande, and Bakermat. Sam has showcased his live performances at notable festivals including Ultra Miami, Coachella and Creamfields. He also hosted his ‘Heartfeldt & Friends’ party, the first pool party to grace Amsterdam Dance Event.

MARK KNIGHT EMBARKS ON CLUB AND FESTIVAL TOUR OF ASIA AND AUSTRALIA

Alongside sold-out gigs at world-class venues including Space Ibiza, Amnesia, Womb Tokyo, Panama Amsterdam and Egg London, 2016 highlights for Mark Knight include the huge ‘Yebisah’, released at the height of the Ibiza season.

Described by Data Transmission as “a timeless, feel-good slice of musical hedonism”, ‘Yebisah’ was a record that captured the imagination on the White Isle and hit the top of the Beatport charts back in August, and went on to be one of the top 10 selling tracks of the year.

The January-February tour will see Mark Knight bringing his trademark blend of house, tech house and techno to some of the countries finest in and outdoor venues, kicking off 20 January at Privee, New Delhi with the final date a very special open air Toolroom Live party at Zero Gavity, Dubai.

“I spent more time than usual in the studio in 2016 working on a few different projects which will hopefully be seeing the light of day this year, so I’m really looking forward to getting back out on the road” says Mark of the upcoming tour.

“It’s been some time since I played some of these venues, but they’re among my favourite places to play in the world. I can’t wait!”

Mark Knight is a rare breed of musical heavyweight. The second highest-selling Beatport artist of all time (with no less than nine No.1’s) his career has spanned more than a decade, with releases on a diverse range of labels such as Suara, 1605, Stereo and of course his own Toolroom.

Alongside his bountiful studio output, Knight has continued to grow his much loved radio presence, with Toolroom Radio now reaching over 13.5 million people in 60 countries across the world, all tuning in each week to hear Mark’s records of choice, while on iTunes Toolroom Radio was recently named in the top 20 most influential podcast by Digital Music News.

The Social Mexico and Colombia adds The Martinez Brothers, Art Department, Loco Dice, Paco Osuna & more

The Social Festival Colombia and Mexico reveal new names joining Nic Fanciulli and Carl Cox this March 17-18th 2017 for their inaugural venture into Latin America.

World-class international DJs Guy Gerber, The Martinez Brothers, Loco Dice and George Fitzgerald have all been revealed in addition to the highest caliber of house and techno: Paco Osuna, Hector, Harvard Bass and Stacey Pullen. The list of Ibiza veterans continues with Art Department and D’Julz, a cast from the pinnacle of the game ensuring neither party drops a point below peak-time.

This new wave of talent is sure to compliment founder and front-man for the festival, Nic Fanciulli who plays with compadre Carl Cox for a throwback throw-down to their team-up at Space Ibiza’s final fiesta. Reconstructing the award-winning boutique atmosphere of The Social Festival in the UK, the line-up reflects the close-knit circle around Fanciulli. This formula is a winning one for its family ethics, a brotherhood perfectly expressed in the flying out of Mark Fanciulli too.

The festivals will also seek to shine a light on Latin America’s flourishing and vivacious club culture. Confirming Mexico City’s astounding, high-capacity venue Arena Cuidad de Mexico, and with Bogota still to be announced, The Social’s Latin American editions look set to captivate a new audience as a standout name on the global festival circuit.
