Galantis – In My Head (Matisse & Sadko Remix) [Preview]

One of our favorite tracks from Galantis‘ last LP is going to get a nice lifting by the talented Russian duo Matisse & Sadko.

Shapov played their upcoming remix for “In My Head” live on stage on this years’ ADE and you can listen below to the promising previews from an unofficial YouTube source.

Although it’s pretty early to judge the final outcome (the previews are pretty short indeed), all we can say is that the two producers are working here on some awesome stuff.

Sandro Silva & Futuristic Polar Bears – BYOS (VIDEO)

Keeping their fans happy with a bountiful release schedule, Futuristic Polar Bears are back with yet another monster track, this time teaming up with Sandro Silva to bring BYOS (Bring Your Own Speaker) – out now on Armada Music.

BEATPORT

Kicking things off with a progressive build, the track features a vocal that repeats everybody gonna get high off the energy before leading the listener into a big-room drop, oozing the Bears signature sound. Entering a euphoric break, the track allows listeners time to catch their breath before pulling them straight back into the madness. This high-energy creation is another solid addition to the Bears dance floor ammunition, and will no doubt make the crowds go crazy in their upcoming live shows.

SOUNDCLOUD

In true Futuristic Polar Bears style, this tune comes with an extremely entertaining and fitting music video. We meet a group of geeky friends who become fed up wasting their free time playing video games, so they decide to throw a massive bring your own speaker party in order to make it the loudest party ever! With the party in full flow, the guys are ecstatic, as they have turned their dream into a reality… When the song comes to an end, we are taken back to the first scene when the main character wakes up from his daydream, and has to settle for hisboring life playing stupid video games.

Making every remaining moment of 2015 count, Futuristic Polar Bears are proving that they are not ones to rest on their laurels. Keeping their releases flowing, and their touring schedule busy, the Bears will not stop until they have spread their Polar Sound across the entire globe. With their BYOS Tour coming up this month, and plenty more where BYOS came from, keep an eye out for what they have coming up next!

LTN & Vintage & Morelli – Forbidden Fruits / US [Silk Musik]

The fifth release on the freshly rebranded Silk Music imprint is a collaborative EP between two of their most accomplished artists: LTN and Vintage & Morelli. The former continues his relentless assault on dance music playlists worldwide, courtesy of his superlative monthly contributions to house, progressive, and trance. The latter is an equally versatile musician, who is also at the pinnacle of his craft, thanks to a variety of breathtaking trance and progressive releases since last autumn.

The lead track on the EP is “Us,” which was initially previewed on LTN & Probity’s “Arrival 02: Destination Indonesia” compilation. The track jets out of the gate with a furious bassline; soon thereafter, it introduces a cosmic lead theme, which is suspensefully teased via a variety of side piano melodies. In the main break, celestial pads unite with the gorgeous piano theme and anthemic chords.

The B-side, “Forbidden Fruits,” finds the dynamic Indonesian and Serbian duo in familiar territory: a lush, chilled progressive house classic-in-the-making. A hypnotic vocal stutter punctuates a melodically blissful soundscape, which includes a variety of fluttering synths, a repeating 1/8 note chord progression, and, of course, an unforgettable piano theme. Kick back and enjoy the soulful and relaxing vibes of this one. [Courtesy of Silk Music]

About Somna: The Somna project began in 2011 with the first single “Without You,” which featured the vocal talents of Sarah-Jane Neild (Lost Witness / Antillas & Dankann). The combination of infectious melodies and heartfelt vocals propelled the track to an immediate signing to Black Hole Recordings alongside a licensing to the highly respected “In Search Of Sunrise” compilation series (vol. 10), mixed by Richard Durand. Jumping off from that was the remix for trance legends Hemstock & Jennings with their track “The Lamb,” which became one of Andy Duguid’s picks for his radio show, as well as a remix of Arkitech “Drive” which garnered support from Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Tritonal and Myon & Shane54.

Somna’s release output didn’t stop there with a solid flow of new music including the notable “In Your Arms,” a collaboration with London songwriter Emma Elizabeth which charted in the Beatport top 100 and received a wide range of support. Fast forward to 2014 with his milestone signing of “Not Afraid w/Yang feat. Noire Lee” on global trance giant Armada Music for Andy Moor’s sub-label Ava Recordings. Somna is also the Label manager and A&R of AVA Recordings, with a number of tracks soon to be released on the label in the coming months.
