Autograf – Running (Original Mix) [Free Download]

Autograf, the trio comprised of Jake Carpenter, Louis Kha, and Mikul Wing, are known for their original and imaginative contributions to the tropical house scene.

“Running” is their second original release ever, and comes six months after their first original, “Dream.” Though the genre is sometimes criticized for being overly simplistic, this deftly-produced track speaks for itself in response.

In true Autograf fashion, the soulful vocal is a perfect centerpiece around which the rest of the track is built. Funky instrumentals and percussion paint a sunny backdrop, and a syncopated xylophone section brightens up the breakdown. Autograf originally declared their personal manifesto as “making music for art,” and this goal comes to life with “Running.”

They created the track’s artwork themselves, the first in a series of works they will create for each upcoming release. The pop-art inspired artwork is designed to resemble Coco Chanel because she was an “icon who sought to break societal norms and conventions.”

Jeremy Olander – Exchange (Hanover EP) [SUARA]

The past five months have seen Sweden’s Jeremy Olander gravitate towards a host of Europe’s most respected imprints, a move that signalled considerably maturity for the progressive pundit with a proven underground flare. Past his microCastle debut, the inauguration of his lo-fi concept and the confirmation that his own Vivrant imprint was in the works, remix duties for Dosem saw Olander lock horns with Spanish heavyweights Suara for a seemingly natural debut on Coyu’s cat-loving label.

Formally debuting for the label with the forthcoming three-track Hannover EP, ‘Lunar’ plays testament to the blissful middle-ground Olander has struck since shaking the shackles of being a mere musical protege. Uplifting in temperament yet groovy in all the right places, this melodic club cut speaks of a journey growing stronger and more eclectic with every release from the Stockholm talent. Jeremy Olander is truly balancing the best of both worlds, but what’s more, he’s made doing it one’s own terms sound ridiculously good.

Mystery Skulls – Magic (Bingo Players’ French Fried Rework)

Dutch electro-house pioneer Bingo Players today presents the club-ready, energized remix of Mystery Skulls’ hit track “Magic (Feat. Nile Rodgers And Brandy)”, now available to stream on Mystery Skulls’ SoundCloud and to download via iTunes.

Beatport: https://beatport.com/magic-feat

Having released his track ‘Curiosity’ as a free download to a massive response only two months ago, the Dutch-born talent is back again with a remix set to take club land by storm. Injecting a Nile Rodgers collaboration with even more funk is a nearly impossible task but Maarten Hoogstraten, aka Bingo Players, has done just that. With a low-end heavy opening, funky bassline and filtered top-end, once again Bingo Players has managed to imbue his own trademark style. Focusing on the enchanting vocals and a layering of rhythmic and staccato percussion, the track builds up to a climax and release of energy akin to a true vintage club classic. As the track glides into the breakdown the echoing vocal and deftly astute chord progression serve as the perfect build to the final crescendo. Bingo Players has thus struck a seamless balance between pop and dance, as the remix will be carving its own path across the airwaves this year. The release of the track also runs alongside six other remixes from world class DJs: Roger Sanchez, Tom Frankel, Latroit, Mozambo, Etnik, and BYNON.

Magic: Remixes tracklisting:

1. Mystery Skulls – Magic (Latroit Remix)
2. Mystery Skulls – Magic (Mozambo)
3. Mystery Skulls – Magic (Etnik Remix)
4. Mystery Skulls – Magic (Sanchez Stealth Mix)
5. Mystery Skulls – Magic (BYNON Remix)
6. Mystery Skulls – Magic (Bingo Players’ French Fried Rework)
7. Mystery Skulls – Magic (Tom Frankel Remix)

Jebu – Consequences [Refune]

Rapidly rising Australian producer Jebu is getting noticed by all the right people. Hits like ‘Home’ have earned support and plays in the UK from the likes of respected Radio 1 tastemakers Danny Howard and Pete Tong, whilst his remix of Rudimental’s ‘Free’ became one of Avicii’s most-played tracks in his True world tour.

His new track, ‘Consequences’, has already been played in live sets by Axwell & Ingrosso, Alesso, and Steve Angello. An acid-house and rave-inspired fresh-feeling monster of a track, it’s easy to see why Sebastian Ingrosso was so keen to snap it up on his respected, long-running imprint Refune Music.

‘Consequences’ will be released on the 11th September and looks set to be the soundtrack of international dance-floors and festivals alike.
