Tomorrowland announces Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz as first artists

For the first time ever at Tomorrowland, the Belgian festival has announced that deadmau5 will be performing. This is absolutely incredible news for fans of the mau5 who are making the trek to Belgium this summer, and it’s also massively surprising as Joel has never played at Tomorrowland before.

Not only this, but it’s announced that he’ll be playing alongside the king of progressive house: Eric Prydz. The two electronic music maestros are known to be good friends as seen from their coffee run and B2B set they had last year as well as their upcoming appearance alongside each other at Ultra Miami next month.

The pair will curate their own mau5trap vs. Pryda stage on Friday July 22nd which will likely host various artists from the two labels, with the mau5 and Prydz expected to close the stage on the Friday night, hopefully in the form of a B2B set which would be just completely nuts.

Tomorrowland has said that the first artists will be announced today, so we’re hoping that there will be more acts announced as the day progresses, as it stands though mau5trap vs. Pryda alone will keep fans happy for quite a while
