Conro signs to Sorted Management

With a successful 2015 now under his belt, rising Canadian producer Conro announces the next step in his upward trajectory by signing to Sorted Management.

The internationally renowned management agency has helped propel the careers ofHardwell, Dannic, Dyro, Thomas Newson and many others into the stratosphere, and with the signing of another promising young artist they are again set to dominate the scene in 2016. Conro is a name that has been trailblazing across the industry ever since his huge collaboration with Dyro ‘Bittersweet’ hit one million streams on Spotify, and things have only progressed for this Canadian talent as he joins the elite rankings of Sorted Management’s roster as we enter 2016.

Conro begins the year with a shift away from the conventional boundaries of EDM, and into more uncharted territories with a new sound and brand new ideas. He is aiming to be a unique voice in the electronic music community, and with the influence of Sorted behind him he has a strong chance of achieving this.

Conro’s intense musical background began with playing the violin at the age of 7, soon morphing into the sound he’s become most well known for, though it’s not without its strong influences. Conro’s style of electro house includes subtle creative nods towards his earlier work blending in aspects of rock, garage and disco, also taking his sound down routes that are more downtempo but still energetic, echoing future bass meets electronic and laced with lush melodies.

His catalogue of stellar productions has continued to grow over the years, with releases on Armada, Revealed and WOLV. His Dyro collaboration ‘Bittersweet’, which featured the vocals of Envy Monroe, proved to be his biggest track yet, gaining massive support from a multitude of big names including Hardwell, David Guetta and Tiësto.

Conro about his new material over the past year I have kept all my music writing behind closed doors working on something new. I redefined my passion for music and decided to write something different”

The future certainly looks bright for Conro, with a musical ability and a knack for kicking out top-notch productions, bettered only by his solid drive and relentless determination to make music that matters. There’s clearly going to be plenty more Conro in our lives in future, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for more from dance music’s next big thing.
